Novena Prayer to St. Therese of Lisieux

Come, to my aid, O God.
O Lord, make haste to help me.
Almighty God, Father of mercies and giver of all good gifts,
I come before you to honor you in your Saints and to ask their help in my many needs.
You promised through Christ, your Son,
that those who ask, would receive;
that those who seek, would find and
that those who knock, would have doors opened to them.
Through the powerful intercession of St. Therese,
hear the prayers of your Church,
pardon my sins and grant my requests according to your holy will. Amen.
O St. Therese, flower of Carmel,
you said you would spend heaven doing good upon earth.
Listen now to my prayer and bring before God this my special intention...
Pray for me that I may become more like you;
that I may love God in every circumstance of life;
that I may live in union with God each moment;
that I may have complete trust in God at all times;
that I may always be humble, pure and good;
that I may persevere in God's grace to the end;
that I may one day see the face of God in heaven.
O St. Therese,
pray for us all that we may remain always faithful to God
and be ever more devoted to His holy Church.
May our lives, like yours, be able to touch the world and
make visible to all God's mercy and love.
O St. Therese, pray for us. Amen. |
