+ “Board of Specified Jurisdiction” (BSJ) .
I am happy to share with the Parish the minutes prepared by Darlene Chan. It was a very fruitful meeting that started a new era for the school.
We are now in the process of recruiting members. Applicants have to submit their resume in a sealed envelop to either Fr. Michael or to Principal to be forwarded to Sr. Mary Paul.
The attached article gives an idea of the scope and aims of this institution. I would recommend Parishioners and friends to consider seriously this opportunity to make our school even more vibrant and successful.

+ “International Noodles Night:.
Be reassured: there will not only the usual noodles, but George has in mind something new this year: different tables displaying typical products of different countries.
The event is quite round the corner: Saturday April 25th and we need to get started. George Lee will organize the first meeting after the (:30am Mass of this Sunday.
+ In remembrance of Robert Hoy:
We celebrated the “Requiem mass” of this Parishioner on Sat. March 7th. The family preferred that donations should be given to Church instead that flowers . The first donations received were from: Ann Ng and Agnes and Henry Lee. Thank You!
+ Aid for the Church in Eastern Europe:
The countries in Central and Eastern Europe have faced many years of hardship. Their churches have been oppressed by radical Communism, horrendous crimes against humanity, and revolutionary, civil, and world wars.
Under communism, organized religion was opposed in favor of atheism. Since the collapse of the former Soviet Union in 1991, Central and Eastern European churches have been working to rebuild the faith of the people.
The funds collected in the Collection for the Church in Central and Eastern Europe are used to grant monies to support seminaries, social service programs.
Through contributions and prayer, we can bring light to Central and Eastern Europe and help rebuild all that was lost during decades of persecution. There will be a second collection this weakened for this special intention.
